Survey finds Ford is top auto brand

Last week, Ford's score of 40 was tops among all auto brands in the survey

DETROIT -- The Ford Fusion Hybrid was named the North American Car of the Year today, while Ford's Transit Connect picked up Truck of the Year accolades in a poll of journalists.

It is only the third time in 17 years that a single manufacturer has won both titles.

Ford won both the 2010 Car of the Year and 2010 Truck of the Year awards at Detroit’s North American International Auto Show. "Winning both of these prestigious awards is confirmation that the ONE Ford plan is working, delivering industry-leading products for our customers," said Mark Fields, president of Ford's Americas division¹.

The LA Autho Show starts December 4th and runs until the 13th. This year Ford, with your help, will be donating up to $75,000 to the LA County Fire Department.
