The federal government has allocated $1,000,000,000 to provide consumers $3,500 or $4,500 vouchers towards the purchase of a new, more energy-efficient vehicle. The program is authorized by congress and President Obama and is to be applied to sales of new vehicles between July 1 and Nov. 1, 2009.
HOWEVER, the program ends if (really when, from what we have seen) the funds run out, whichever comes first. So hurry in to Citrus Motors while the rebate is still available. We are registered with the program and have already helped dozens of our patrons save money and get a great new car.

There is a new Federal program to help you purchase your next new vehicle. By trading in an older, less fuel efficient car for a new, more fuel efficient car you could be entitled to some rebates. The program went into effect July 1st, 2009 and final details will be available after July 24th, 2009. When you buy a new car, we will handle all of the bureaucracy with the NHTSA. All we need is your title, registration and insurance papers showing continuous registration for the past year.
For full details as they develop, check the CARS.gov website. You can also check the FuelEconomy.gov website to see what kind of mileage your next vehicle gets.

Economic Stimulus 2009
Signed into law On Tuesday, Feb. 17, President Obama signed a $787 billion stimulus package to help the American People. Good news for those waiting to buy a new car as Sales tax on any new vehicle purchased after February 17, 2009 and before January 1, 2010 can be deducted from your 2009 taxes (1). You do not have to itemize your taxes to take the new vehicle sales tax deduction as it can be a standard deduction also (2).
